The original Oasis 40M brings the pool, seating and opening side wings together at the stern. Benetti designed this area as a substantial place to spend the day, with the main lounge nearby. It offers a different relationship with the sea from a yacht whose principal pool and social setting are high on a sundeck.
For a Monaco holiday, that layout rewards a programme with an unhurried afternoon at a suitable stop. A guest returning from a swim can remain close to the conversation, while others settle near the pool or inside the lounge. The design is most useful when there is time to inhabit it, rather than passing through between frequent shore appointments.
Circulation keeps the waterfront open
In Benetti's documented second-unit arrangement, access to the upper decks runs through the side walkways and interior, rather than placing a central staircase in the beach area. The tender garage is to starboard. These choices help keep the stern setting open and give service and guest movement separate routes.
For a family group, the arrangement is worth discussing alongside pool supervision and the crew's water-access briefing. An open terrace is still a working marine environment. Furniture, deployed wings and the way the pool is used depend on the actual yacht and conditions; the most comfortable plan keeps clear routes between lounging, water access and the interior.
Several decks support different routines
The manufacturer example has five guest staterooms distributed within a yacht of four decks. That accommodation can support a private stay whose days include both social time and retreat. An owner-selected interior may differ, so the model's broad arrangement should not be mistaken for identical rooms on every hull.
For guests joining in Monaco, decide whether the yacht is the holiday base or one part of a stay ashore. A multi-day programme can leave room for a later breakfast, coastal passage and lunch aboard. A single afternoon instead places almost all the value on the stern, lounge and quality of service, with the bedrooms playing a smaller role.
The original 40M has its own identity
This profile concerns the 40.80-metre Oasis 40M with an 8.50-metre beam. It does not borrow the dimensions or revised features of the newer Oasis 42M.
